This summer, 2026, David is appearing in “Ariadne auf Naxos” at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and understudying the part of Der Haushofmeister, in a new production directed by the brilliant French director, Laurent Pelly.
In the summer of 2024, David played The Rabbi in the 5 star sell-out production of “Fiddler on the Roof” at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, nominated for a record 13 Olivier Awards and winner of the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, and Winner of the Critics’ Circle Award for Best Musical. David is planning more dates for his one man show celebrating the life and music of Kurt Weill.
David trained as an actor at The Rose Bruford College and then worked successfully as an actor in all media (theatre, television, radio, film, voiceovers) specialising in musical theatre, roles including; The Narrator in “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and John the Baptist/Judas in “Godspell”, Malvolio in “Twelfth Night” and Demetrius in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
